Educate and empower all students at Belmont to have the necessary data literacy to thrive within their professional career. It also is an initiative to identify and provide education and inspiration to the community to change their mindset on the use of data and to become data driven in their decision making.
What areOur Objectives?
- All students should be able to attain Data Exposure and Literacy through their coursework.
- Students can attain Data Proficiency or Data Fluency through specific curriculum and/or data-enhanced co-curriculum or extra curriculum.

What is the Data Mindset Framework?
A systematic approach to think differently about situations to provide a data-driven approach to problem solving.
Why a Data Mindset Framework?
Too often problem solving starts with a vaguely defined problem and then jumps to conclusions. This process allows for individuals to properly define and investigate the problem prior to providing appropriate solutions.
